Newspaper Obituary - Friday, January 15, 1988 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Services for George Harmon Littler, 71, of 7426 Park St., who died Wednesday at House of the Good Samaritan hospital, Watertown, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St. Mr. Littler was a life resident of Pulaski. He retired in 1975 after 20 years as a self-employed carpenter. For several years he also owned and operated Littler's Market here and he was previously employed with American Stores in Oswego. His wife, the former Joanne Killian, died in 1955. Mr. Littler was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church, past master of Pulaski Lodge 415, F&AM, and a past patron of Pulaski Chapter 159, OES. He was a volunteer with the Oswego County Mental Health Center. Mr. Littler was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, Bruce J. of Endicott; a daughter, Joanne C. Dawley of Phoenix; two brothers, Robert of Oneida and Gerald of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Marguerite Jackson of Boonville; and eight great-grandchildren.
