He was a Ham radio operator. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, the former Julie Valley; two daughters, Brandy Snyder-Van Ry, Sandy Creek, Denise Garno, Lacona; one grandson, Tyler Van Ry, Sandy Creek; one brother, Jim Snyder, Central Square; one sister, Cindy Kruk. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. Contributions may be made to NOCA Ambulance Corp. or Menter Ambulance.
