      Virgil H. Hager, 63, of 7368 Lake St., died Tuesday at his home.

      The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.

      There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Central New York, 731 James St., Suite 200, Syracuse, N.Y. 13203.

      He is survived by three daughters, Catherine L. Crocker, Emily J. McCarty, and Sharon L. Blodgett, all of Pulaski, and nine grandchildren.

      His wife, Jean Widrig Hager, died in 1989.

      Born July 12, 1930, in Ithaca, he was the son of Virgil and Frances Green Hager. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1948 and Indianapolis Chiropractic College in 1958.

      He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1954.

      Mr. Hager had a chiropractic practice in Pulaski and Liverpool for 30 years, retiring in 1988. He was also a hypnotherapist for several years.

      He was the pastor of the Sandy Creek First Baptist Church for 25 years. He was previously pastor of the Osceola Community Church for a short time. Mr. Hager moved to Pulaski in 1961. He had previously resided in Ithaca and Liverpool.
