Newspaper Obituary - Friday, May 8, 1953 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Funeral services for Mrs. Almeda Williams, 86, widow of Judson Williams, Richland, will be held at the Church of Christ, Richland, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Donald C. Randall with burial in Richland Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Wednesday after a long illness. She was born in Orwell, August 26, 1866, daughter of Josia and Perlina Stowell Hilton, and members of families which first settled the area. She had resided in the vicinity of Orwell and Richland all of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Richland. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Butler, Watertown, Mrs. Charles Thompson and Mrs. James McElhone, Oswego; two sons, Rev. Roy R_ Williams, Pleasant Lake, Pennellville, and Rev. M. Williams, Sand Ridge, Pennellville; a brother, George Hilton, Kissimmee, Florida; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
