      Jeanette C. Sharp December 21, 2005

      Jeanette C. Sharp, 93, formerly of 80 Hanover St., Meriden, CT, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Sharp, Sr.

      She was born in Pulaski, NY, the daughter of the late Melvin and Goldia Danough Hutchens. She had been employed for 20 years with the Meriden-Wallingford Society for the Handicapped and was a member of the First Congregational Church, serving as a deaconess at the church.

      She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Robert West of Meriden; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard J. Sharp, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK and Ronald M. and Deborah Sharp of Thomasville, GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lovella Havens and a brother, Robert Hutchens. Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation to her other family at Coccomo Memorial Health Care Center.

      The funeral service will be held Friday, December 23 at 10 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Dr. John W. Clarke will officate. Burial at the convenience of the family will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Warners, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday (today) from 7 to 9 p.m.
