Paul E. Town, Jr., aged 80, resident of Pulaski since 1962, formerly of Altmar, passed away Wednesday, September 17, at his home. Paul was born August 28, 1934 in Long Beach, CA, to Paul and Florence Eynon Town. He attended Altmar Parish High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Paul married Dawn Elmer in 1961. He was employed by Carrier Corporation for over 31 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Lacona VFW Cable Trail Post #8534.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn; three sons, Lance and Tracey Town, both of Pulaski, and Brian Town of Oneida; one brother, Douglas Town of California; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by one grandson, Parker Town; and one brother, Donald Town.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 with burial in Maplelawn Cemetery in Dugway.
