Nerine J. Clemons, 77, Oswego County Route 2, died Thursday at her home.
Mrs. Clemons worked at the Oswego County Sanitarium here for several years.
Born June 11, 1919, in Orwell, daughter of Russell and Belva Wiggins Balch, she attended School in Rome. She had lived in Pulaski and Albany for many years before returning to Orwell in 1949.
She married Ernest T. Clemons on July 3, 1937, in the Sandy Creek Methodist parsonage. Mr. Clemons, a New York Central Railroad engineer, died Nov. 27, 1983.
Mrs. Clemons was a member of Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church, the Orwell Do a Little Kindness Every Day Class and the Sandy Creek-Orwell Senior Citizens.
Surviving are three sons, Durrell E. "Corky," Pulaski, Dean D., Orwell, and Donald R., Mapleview; three daughters, Darlene J. Pickett, Cincinnati, Ohio, Donna D. Balcom, Pulaski, and Dalinda D. Perzan, Altmar; two sisters, Marion Allen and Faylene Britton, both of Altmar, 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Sandy Sinesi officiating. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association of Central New York, 1603 W. Genesee St., Syracuse, N.Y. 13204, or the Volunteers of Oswego County Hospice.

Nerine J. Clemons, 77, of county Route 2 died Thursday at her home.
A native of Orwell, she lived in the Pulaski and Albany areas many years before returning to Orwell in 1949. She attended school in Rome.
Mrs. Clemons worked several years at the Oswego County Sanitarium in Orwell.
She was a member of Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church, the Orwell DALKED (Do a Little Kindness Every Day) Class and the Sandy Creek-Orwell Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Ernest T., died in 1983.
