Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 19, 1994 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Clayton F. Carpenter, Pulaski, Dies At 55 - Clayton F. Carpenter, 55, Deerfield Apartments, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital. He had been ill with cancer. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Flax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., with the Rev. Elizabeth L. Mowry officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are four sons, Clayton G., Joel H., Tracy A. and Donald L., all of Sebring, Florida; a brother, Floyd, Pulaski; a sister, Grace Jarrell, Melbourne, Florida; six grandchildren, and a longtime companion, Marie Guay, Pulaski. Born September 24, 1939, at Sandy Creek, son of Glen A. and Nira Harmes Carpenter, he was a graduate of Pulaski High School and served with the Air Force from 1957 to 1958. Mr. Carpenter lived in Plattsburgh from 1979 to 1991, when he moved to Pulaski_ He had also lived in Mexico and Phoenix for several years. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 317, Syracuse.
