Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, December 4, 1994 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Claire E. LeBeau, 86, Maltby Road, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pulaski Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Berry officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Flax Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Pulaski Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, James and Donald, both of Pulaski; three daughters, Arlene J. Branch, Ogdensburg, Glenda Clark, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Joyce Thompson, Pulaski; 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. A son, Richard, and a daughter, Helen Parker, died before her. She was born April 7, 1908, in Pulaski, a daughter of Clifford and Ona Thorpe Kelsey. She graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1926 and from Central City Business Institute, Syracuse. She married Frank J. LeBeau on April 7, 1928. He died in 1980. Mrs. LeBeau was town secretary of Pulaski for 14 years, ending in 1973, and was Richland town clerk for many years. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm on the Maltby Road for more than 40 years. Mrs. LeBeau was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church, the Oswego County Baptist Women's Council, the Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289 Auxiliary and the Pulaski Home Bureau and a life member of Pulaski Grange 730.
