Thomas E. Race, 66, of 126 Larkin Road, New Haven, died Friday at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton, after a truck-car accident in Parish.
Born in Syracuse, he lived in the Parish area most of his life and was a self-employed painter.
Surviving are four daughters, Laurie Dana of Parish, Wendy Ramsey of New Haven, Betsy Fitch and Mary Beth Race, both of Mexico; seven sons, Thomas, Mickey, Jerry, and Timothy, all of Parish, Michael of Mexico, Raymond and David, both of New Haven; eight brothers, Kenneth, James and Charles, all of Parish, Martin of Hannibal, Gerald of Constantia, David of Fulton, Robert of Altmar, and John of Pulaski; one sister, Mary Nolan of Hastings.
Spring graveside services are in Pleasant Long Cemetery, Parish.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hater Funeral Home, 7430 Main St., Parish.
