- Newspaper Obituary - February 11, 2011 Syracuse Post Standard - Thomas A. Roberts - February 9, 2011 - Thomas A. Roberts, age 63, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at his home. Thomas was born January 1, 1948 in Watertown, the son of Elmer and Lois Howlett Roberts. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1967, and he served in the United States Navy from 1967 until 1971. Tom married Linda Waterbury on August 22, 1970. He was employed by the Fulton Companies as a service technician for 38 years, retiring in 2010. Tom was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pulaski. Surviving, his wife, Linda M.; three daughters, Maria (Richard) Hilton of Sandy Creek, Tove (Chad) Peyton of Ellisburg, and Misty (Sean) Schouten of Pulaski; his mother, Lois Roberts of Pulaski; two brothers, Michael L. Roberts of New Port Richey, FL, and William J. Roberts of Pulaski; four sisters, Sandra Cornell of Fulton, Julie Nunemaker of Pulaski, Cindy Conner of New Port Richey, FL, and Valeria Redhead of Rome; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Rte. 11, Pulaski, with a burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral. Donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church for the Playground Fund in honor of Thomas Roberts.
