      William H. Rood, 87, of 126 Meredith Ave., Nedrow, died Saturday in a local nursing home.

      He was a former resident, of Pulaski and Parish and lived in Nedrow 19 years.

      A retired farmer, he was a member of the Rockwell Methodist Church.

      are his widow, Mrs. Addie Rood; three sons, William E. of Solvay, Holland W. of Jamestownr and C. Frederick Rood of Lysander; five daughters, Mrs. Stanley Skinner of McLean, Mrs. Laura James of Syracuse, Miss Nellie Mayflard, Mrs. Judson Reed and Miss Eleanlora Rood all of Nedrow; 12 grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.

      Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Dugway Methodist Church, the Rev. Franklin A. Weaver officiating. Interment in Dugway Cemetery
