- January 17, 1886 ~ Oscar F. Wright, age 58 years, 4 months, Married, Insurance agent, born in New York, Resident of Richland Township for 20 years, Son of Josiah Wright and Sally Boyington, died at Pulaski of heart disease.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 21, 1886 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - On Sunday, about 1:45 p.m. Oscar F. Wright, for about five years a bookkeeper and collector for Dr. Low, died quite suddenly at the Hotel de June. He had left the employ of Dr. Low, about one week previous to his death. As there had been some reports or surmises tending to show that deceased had suicided by taking belladonna or a similar poison, an inquest was held by Dr. Caldwell at the special request of several interested parties. At this examination it appeared from the evidence taken, that the deceased had been subject to similar attacks and the jury rendered a verdict to the effect that the deceased came to his death by exhaustion occasioned by disease of the heart. The witnesses sworn were Ben Randall, Will R. Molther and Dr. F. S. Low. The jurors were: John R. Molther, J. Preston, J. H. Bean, F. N. Parker, A. A. Maltby, A. C. Brown, B. D. Salisbury, M. D. Bumpus, Z. Kilbin.
