Wells W. DeGraw, 68, of Richland Rd., Pulaski, died June 10, 1978.
He was born April 11, 1910, in Pulaski and was the son of Frank and Mary Rood DeGraw. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School. DeGraw married Louise Potter in 1936, who died April 1, 1967. They resided in Orwell all their married life.
He was employed 39 years as an operator for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. at Bennetts Bridge and Lighthouse Hill, retiring in 1972. In March, 1975, he married Ethel LaVeck, who died May 31,1977. He was a member of the Niagara Mohawk 25 Year Club.
DeGraw is survived by 3 sons, David W. and Jack W. DeGraw, both of Parish; Daniel M. DeGraw of Fulton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Clifford and Mrs. Meribeth Dunstone, both of Liverpool; 12 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Hazel Spath, of Lakeland, Fla.
Funeral services were held at l p.m., Tuesday, June 13, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Rev. Milton Jefferson, pastor of United Methodist Church, Liverpool, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
