- Charity Bess Bagalonis-Potter climbed her stairway to heaven on October 29, 2014. Charity was born on September 18, 1972 to Michael R. Bagalonis and Debra B. Youngs. She was attending Bryant and Stratton in the Medical Assistant Program where she was on the Dean's List, and a dedicated student. Charity married the love of her life, Wayne Potter, on February 8, 2014.
Charity's smile was contagious, her laugh infectious. She loved music, her friends and family deeply. She was tender hearted, and always, unselfishly put others first. Her style was impeccable, a true Material Girl. She loved to eat, and her husband loved to cook for her. They had plans to hunt together this season and shoot a big buck. They watched football together and shared an amicable love for the beach and camping. Charity related to, and befriended all; a non-judging, beautiful soul.
Charity is survived by her husband, Wayne A. Potter; her father, Michael R. Bagalonis; and mother, Debra B. Youngs; her sisters, Terra (Troy) Guth of Alabama, Michele (Eric) King of Oswego; her brother, Michael A. R. (Amanda) Bagalonis of Pulaski; stepsisters, Tracy (George) Pollic and Stephanie Watters, both of Pulaski; her step-daughter, Miranda Potter; and sister-in-law, Diane Medici. She was adored by 16 nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 2 at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse, NY from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Monday, November 3 at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest privately in the weeks to come.
