- Lillian M. Sweatland, 72, of Richland dies April 29, at the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown, where she was a patient for five days.
Born October 15, 1899, the daughter of Asa and Anna Osborn Green in Williamstown, Mrs. Sweatland attended Camden High school and was married to Ray A. Sweatland in 1917 at Westdale. Mr. Sweatland was employed for many years by the New York Central Railroad as a maintenance foreman. They resided in Westdale, Pulaski, and Richland. He died July 24, 1954.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Sweatland Jr., Central Square, Robert L., Richland; two daughters, Mrs. David (Catherine) Bailey, Pulaski, Mrs. Charles (Edna) Wilcox, Sandy Creek, eight grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
