Notes - Mrs Julia Soble Joss, 65 of County Rt #22, Parish, died Tuesday Nov 18 in Community General Hospital after a long illness. She was a life resident of Parish and attended Parish High School. She was a former postmaster in Maple View, N.Y. Surviving are her husband Paul Joss, a son Charles Short of Seaford Del, three daughters, Nancy Short of Bridgeville, Del, Anita Cole and Deborah Wilks of Parish. Seven granchildren; three sisters, Adelia Barthel of Parish and Helen Werner and Betty Henopp, both of Calif and two brothers, Edwin Soble of Altmar and William Soble of Lakeport. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.
