- September 17, 2005 Faylene F. Balch Britton, 75, of Rte. 104, Williamstown, passed away September 17, 2005, at home with her family at her side. Born April 29, 1930, in Rome, she lived most of her life in Williamstown. She attended Altmar Union High School. She was married to Grover Britton on November 4, 1948. Surviving are her husband, Grover; three daughters: Belva Comins of Pulaski, Cathy (Bruce) Smith of Parish and Teresa (Ronald) Rose of Mexico; four sons: Fred (Elaine) Britton of Camden, Grover (Kathleen) Britton, Rick (Marcia) Britton and Terry (Candy) Britton, all of Williamstown; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donation may be made to Oswego County Hospice, Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126.
