Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, November 26, 2000 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Daniel E. Rice, Played Youth Hockey - Daniel E. Rice, 35, of 48 Lake St., died Thursday at his home of pneumonia. Mr. Rice had worked for the past six years at Ringgold Auto Repair, Pulaski. He had previously worked for Harris Corp in North Carolina, Grandma Brown's Baked Beans, Mexico, and Paulanjo's Pizza. Born August 6, 1965, in Syracuse, son of Aldwin and Viva Letterman Rice, he graduated from Pulaski Central School in 1983. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had played youth ice hockey in the Salmon River Hockey Association for many years. Surviving are his parents of Orwell; two brothers, Robert A., Pulaski, and Paul Rice Stone, Raleigh, North Carolina; a sister, Paula M. Harris, Pulaski; nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A private funeral will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
