- George A. Pollic Sr., 75, of 766 County Route 48, died Monday at his home. Mr. Pollic retired in 1989 after 25 years at Schoeller Technical Papers, Pulaski. He also owned and operated a dairy farm from 1950 to 1965. He moved to Richland from Depauville in 1950. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289, Pulaski. Born April 26, 1926, in Rodman, son of John and Mary Kovacs Pollic, he attended school at Depauville and graduated from LaFargeville High School. He married Virginia Mattison on April 10, 1948, at Richland Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Rowson officiating. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Judy V. Gallagher, Pulaski; two sons, George A. Jr. and Richard C., both of Richland; two sisters, Anna Davis, Watertown, and Mary Wise, Richland; nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. The funeral was at 1 p.m. today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial is in Pineville Cemetery. The Watertown Daily Times
