Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 28, 1953 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Eddy, 65, wife of Frank Eddy, who died suddenly at the family home in Lake Street Saturday afternoon, will be held at the home at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Frederick L. Anderson, pastor of Pulaski Baptist church, and Rev. James Rhodes, Glens Falls, her nephew. Burial will be in Daysville cemetery. Mrs. Eddy had been in poor health for a number of years from a heart ailment. She was born in the town of Sandy Creek March 30, 1888, daughter of Charles and Emma DeKory Straight. She had spent most of her life on farms in the vicinity of Pulaski but more recently had conducted a large rooming house in Lake Street. She was a member of the Baptist church, Women's Relief Corps, Pulaski Grange, and Daughters of Union Veterans. She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. W. C. (Hellan) Rhodes, Dannemora, and several nieces and nephews.
