- Newspaper Obituary - Friday, February 12, 1999 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - LeRoy McNitt, 57, of 502 Towsley Road, town of Albion, formerly of Pulaski, died Thursday at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, of complications of a stroke. He lived in Pulaski before moving to the town of Albion in 1978. He worked for 17 years for the town of Albion Highway Department and was a truck driver for 10 years for Pulaski Agway. Mr. McNitt was a member of the Jack McDonald and Monteola hunting clubs, the Teamsters and the National Rifle Association. Born August 27, 1941, in Syracuse, son of Elmer and Belva Twitchell McNitt, he attended Pulaski schools. He married Joan F. Nutting on October 15, 1962. Surviving besides his wife and his father, of Adams, are a daughter, Karen D. Glenister, Pulaski; three sons, Rick L., Rodney A. and Brian P., all of Pulaski; a sister, Susan Barrett, Henderson; two brothers, Gary F., Pulaski, and Elwin L., Williamstown; three half-sisters, Donna Case and Kathy Jones, both of Watertown, and Diana Busler, Adams; a half-brother, Robert, Mannsville, and 10 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
