Newspaper Obituary - Monday, February 25, 1991 The Valley News - Fulton, New York - Carol M. Clark, Mother of Fulton Woman ¬Carol M. Clark, 45, of Route 2 Orwell, died Monday, February 18 at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. Mrs. Clark died from injuries she suffered in a one-car accident on Route 264 in Schroeppel. She was a life resident of the Pulaski-Orwell area. She was an Avon representative and was names to its President's Club for top sales for the past four years. Mrs. Clark was a former president of the auxiliary of Cable Trail Post 8534, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lacona and a former chairwoman of its Junior Girls VFW Post. She was named chairwoman of the year by New York State Junior Girls VFW. Mrs. Clark was a member of the auxiliary of Robert Edwards Post 358, American Legion in Pulaski. She was president of the auxiliary of Orwell Volunteer Fire Department and recording secretary of the auxiliary of Oswego County Fire Department Association. Mrs. Clark was also a member of the Orwell Library Board and the Orwell Planning Board. She is survived by her husband, Roger R.; a son, Raymond D. II of Orwell; a daughter, Theresa Switzer of Fulton; her mother, Reta Summerville of Pulaski; a brother, Charles Summerville Jr., of Sandy Creek; three sisters, Shirley Blais of Liverpool, Patricia VanNort of North Syracuse, and Charlotte DeGaetano of Pulaski; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 21 in Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Make-a-wish Children's Foundation, Syracuse, the Orwell Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, or the Park United Methodist Church.
