    • Lillian Mae Sanderson, 85, formerly of Sandy Creek and Lacona, die Saturday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a resident since Nov. 28, 1979.

      The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Summerville Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Snyder, pastor of Boylston Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

      Surviving are two daughters, Mary K. Mason, Syracuse, and Luella Moran, Liberty Hills, Texas; three sisters, Vercie Cary and Ada Hackett, both of Fulton, and Jennie Shabych, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Raymond Stacy, Sandy Creek, and John Stacy, Lacona; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

      A sister, Eva Steele, died March 3, 1988.

      Born April 27, 1911, in Pulaski, daughter of Jay and Rena Tyfair Stacy, she was educated in Sandy Creek schools. She lived in Lacona and Sandy Creek before moving to Syracuse in 1971.

      She married Ephraim A. Carnrite Aug. 15, 1930, in Lacona. Mr. Carnrite, a cabinetmaker, died April 14, 1964. She married Hugh C. Sanderson Feb. 17, 1979, in Syracuse. Mr. Sanderson, a retired tool and die maker, died Oct. 16, 1979.
