    • Obituary:
      Claudius B. Thompson, 81, of 1788 Armory Drive, a retired textile worker, died yesterday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center.

      He was born in Auburn. He attended public schools in that area. He married Rose B. Taber in 1904 at Seneca Falls. The couple came to Utica in 1919.

      Mr. Thompson had been a loom fixer with the former American Woolen Co. for about 25 years. He retired in 1947. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

      Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. William F. (Fern) Newell, Mrs. Frank A. (Letha) Amendola and Mrs. Ernest F. (Arlene) Paquette, all of Utica.

      The funeral will be at 2 Wednesday from Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert W. Sampson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.

      Calling hours at the Williams Funeral Home are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
