- Newspaper Obituary - October 10, 2001 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Ronald F. Ketchum, 72, of Josephine Street, North Syracuse, died Sunday at Jewish Home of Central New York. He was born in Mount Vernon. He was an insurance salesman with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Syracuse. Survivors: His wife, the former Betty Weiand; a daughter, Stephanie Burch of Liverpool; a son, Ronald F. Jr. of Brewerton; two brothers, John S. of Williamsburg, Va., and Frederick L. of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; one grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home. Burial, 2:30 p.m. Friday Margaretsville Cemetery Annex. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
