    • Newspaper Obituary - January 26, 2005B Daily Messenger - Canandaigua, New York - U.S. Army veteran. Lawrence H. Carr, of Manchester and formerly of Palmyra, died Jan. 25, 2005 at Clifton Springs Hospital & amp; Clinic Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Ethel H. Carr; son, David (Paula) Carr; daughter, Penny VanBoxlaere; brother, Gordon (Joan) Carr of Augusta, Ga.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Carr, a U.S. Army veteran, served in Germany. He was employed by Gleason Works of Rochester. There will be no calling hours. His funeral service will be held Saturday, January 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Creation Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
