Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 18, 1986 Syracuse Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Services for the Rev. Ray R. Williams, 96, of Pennellville RD 1, who died Tuesday at his home, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Richland Disciples Church of Christ. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street. A native of Boylston, Mr. Williams also lived in Richland and North Syracuse before moving to Pennellville in 1940. He was a member and former pastor of Disciples Church of Christ, Tully. Mr. Williams also served pastorates in Richland, Mallory, North Syracuse and Gilberts Mills. He had served as chaplain of the Tully Fire Department and was a former director of the Thousand Islands Christian Service Group, Sandy Pond. He was a member of Republican Masonic Lodge, Parish. Surviving are a brother, Manford of Kissimmee, Florida; a sister, Amber Barnhart of Inman, South Carolina; a grandson, Michael Marr of Constantia; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
