    • Newspaper Obituary - December 27, 1946 Oswego Palladium Times - Fulton Funerals - Newton N. Ward - Fulton - Funeral of Newton N. Ward, 68, who died Wednesday night at his home in Granby after a lingering illness, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the home with Rev. Luther Ridgeway, pastor of Granby church, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery. Mr. Ward had been a resident of Granby 20 years. He was a member of the Granby Center Methodist church. Suriving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Ward; three sons, Elmer Ward, serving with the Marine Corps at Tientain, China; Erwin Ward, Fulton, and Newton Ward Jr., Granby; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Mangano and Miss Rhoda Ward, Granby; and four grandchildren, Barbara Jean and Mary Ward, and Judy Ann and Jimmy Mangano.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 2, 1947 Fulton Patriot - Ward - Died at his home in Granby, Dec. 25, Newton N. Ward, aged 66 years. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Jennie Ward, three sons, Edwin of Fulton, Marine Elmer Ward of Tientsen China, and Newton Jr. of Granby, two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Mangano and Miss Rhoda Ward and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon, Rev. Luther Ridgeway officiating, intemrent in Mt. Adnah.
