Newspaper Obituary - Monday, February 5, 1934 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, February 5 - Ernest W. Perry, 54, well-known resident of the town of Richland, died at his home one-half mile west of Fernwood Sunday as result of a stroke of apoplexy. lie was born in Fernwood August 4, 1879, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Perry. In his earlier life he was a school teacher and also worked for the New York Central but had devoted himself to his farm for more than a quarter of a century. He was a member of South Richland Grange and had always been an active worker in grange affairs. He was also a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Fernwood. Funeral services will be held at the home Wednesday at 2 o'clock by the Rev. George Butler of the Fernwood Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be in Willis cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Lacy Perry; two nieces, Miss Vivian Hicks of Central Square and Mrs. Gertrude Curtis of Syracuse, and an aunt, Mrs. L. W.; Wiggins of Utica.
