Elizabeth Hill Matheson, 96, Henderson Harbor and Summerville, S.C., died Sunday at her winter home in Summerville.
Born Nov. 30, 1910, in Pulaski, daughter of Enos and Flora Decatur Hill, she graduated from Pulaski High School in 1928.
She married E. Carl Matheson of Boston, Mass., in 1941. They lived in Wellesley, Mass., and later Greenwich, Conn. Mr. Matheson died in 1965. She was a longtime summer resident of Henderson Harbor and shared a home in Summerville during winters with her sister, Dorothy H. Williams.
She was a member of the Westchester Country Club, Henderson Harbor Yacht Club, Etude Book Study Group, Daughters of the American Revolution (Pulaski Chapter) and enjoyed golf and bridge.
Surviving besides her sister are a great-niece and great-nephew and great-great-nieces.
There will be a private family service. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Arrangements are with Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 425 Washington St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601.
