- Newspaper Obituary - August 1, 1906 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - The death of Horace N. Wilcox, which occurred July 13, removed from our town a well-known and highly respected citizen. Mr. Wilcox was born in Evansville, Wisconsin, in 1852. He came with his parents to this town when four years of age and has ever since resided here. He was in the employ of the railroad many years but was obliged to retire twenty-three years ago on account of injuries received while on duty near Adams. Since then he has been engaged in farming most of the time. He was sick eight months with cancer of the liver and stomach. His funeral was held the 15th under direction of the Spring Brook Odd Fellows Lodge and Rev. Samuel E. Brown, of Pulaski, preached a very appropriate and earnest discourse. Mr. Wilcox is survived by a wife and six children.
