      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 29, 1886 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died in this village, April 24th, 1886, Phoebe, wife of W. M. Woods, aged 28 years. Mrs. Woods was a daughter of David Bennett, formerly well known as a contractor and builder of this village, now a resident of Nebraska. She was a fond mother and devotedly beloved by her husband, who deeply mourns her loss. Three small children, two sons and a daughter are left, too young to fully realize the dreadful affliction which has befallen them. Mr. and Mrs. Woods, a few years after their marriage, moved from this village to Hastings, Nebraska, and afterwards to Pennsylvania. It was less than two months since that they returned to this village. The funeral was held last Monday from their residence on the C. W. Woods farm. E. D. Bennett, a brother, Mrs. H. H. Lyman, Mrs. R. W. Box, and Mrs. Z. Kiblin, sisters, were present at the last and impressive services, conducted by Rev. D. D. Owen. We deeply sympathize with the husband and his motherless children in their sad bereavement.
