Newspaper Obituary - Friday November 16, 1979 Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - Services for Fred Jay DeLong, 82, of 105 Northwood Drive, Mattydale, who died Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Masonic services will be Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a member of the Amalgamated Association of Street and Electric Railway and Motorcoach Employees of America, Division 580. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church, Salt Springs Masonic Lodge 520, and Senior Citizens of Mattydale. He was born in Daysville. Surviving are two sons, Jack J. of North Louisburg, Ohio, and Robert F. of Colorado Springs; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
