    • Obituary of Carolyn J. Davis
      Carolyn J. Davis, age 60, resident of Pulaski, for the past 30 years, passed away Saturday at her home after a courageous battle with kidney disease. Carolyn was born March 18, 1962, in Syracuse, the daughter of Paul and Ada Fritcher Corcoran. She graduated from Caledonia Mumford Central School in 1980 and Monroe Community College with a culinary degree. Carolyn was married to Omar Davis on August 3, 2001, and he passed away in 2017. She was employed by Pulaski Central School District as Director of Food Service for 15 years. Carolyn and her husband, Omar, operated a catering business, Hog Heaven for many years. Carolyn was also an ordained minister. She enjoyed traveling and loved her pets and the children of her community. She was a member of the Pulaski American Legion Auxiliary Post #358.

      Surviving, are her sisters, Rose (Mark) Mitchell of Ilion and Christine (Alan) Wilcox of Altmar, nieces and nephews Leslie Wood (Bernie) whom the family would like to especially thank for acting as her caretaker, Robert Gamble, Paul and Autumn Willcox, great-nephews, Chester, Spencer, Jerodd, Jacob, and Lanndon, great-niece, Amelia, great-great nieces and nephews, Sabastian, Melani, Anastasia, Jerodd Jr., and father and mother in-law, Omar and Julie Davis and family. She was predeceased by one sister, Colleen Precourt.

      Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 9th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar, with a reception immediately following at the Pulaski American Legion. Calling hours will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
