    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 19, 1964 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Deaths - MRS. BEATRICE MURPHY - PARISH - Mrs. Beatrice Stevens Murphy, 69, of Parish RD 1, died Tuesday in the Oswego County Infirmary at Mexico after a short illness. Mrs. Murphy was born in Parish and for 13 years had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Ava Race at Parish Rd. Surviving besides her daughter are; a son, Chester Murphy of Parish; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Harter Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Rudd, pastor of the Parish Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
