Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 17, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Emily Jones, widow of the late Lucius Jones, departed this life on Saturday, February 13, 1909, after a life of 80 years spent in this town. She was born at Selkirk and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Richards on Park Street. She was not generally known to the younger element of our community because she had been confined to her bed for 25 years. During all this time she has had the un_tined care and devotion from her friends. Early in her life she became identified with the Methodist Episcopal church of this village and was an earnest and devoted worker in the church for many years. Illness came which deprived her of the privilege of the church but through the many years her faith never waned and she always showed a lively interest in all the activities of the church. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. W. Richards, of this village. The funeral was held on Monday conducted by her pastor, Rev. Frederick Maunder. Interment was made in Pulaski cemetery.
