      Katherine L. Galipeau, 92, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Pulaski, she lived in Syracuse over 50 years before moving to Orlando, FL, in 1996, then to Bridgeport in 2006.

      She was employed by the Army Missile Command in Syracuse for several years, followed by the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, where she was an administrative assistant, retiring in 1985. Katherine was a longtime member of St. Patrick's church choir and its Altar and Rosary Society.

      She was predeceased by her husband, Howard, in 1999 and by her grandson, Mark Francher, in 1995.

      Surviving are her two daughters, Joan Ragland of Martinsville, VA, and Susan (Paul) Francher of Geddes; one son, Gary (Barbara Goss) Galipeau of Bridgeport; two sisters, Marietta Kinch of Elbridge and Betty Franklin of Roanoke, VA; one brother, James March of Manlius; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Church, Syracuse. Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. Private burial will be in Pulaski Village Cemetery, Pulaski. Condolences may be offered at www.bagozzitwins.com
