  MARGARET MURTAUGH Watertown Daily Times (NY) - October 7, 2006Browse Issues Margaret E. "Rita" Murtaugh, 88, Pierrepont Manor, died Wednesday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. She had been a resident of Central Square for 40 years before moving to Pierrepont Manor two years ago. Mrs. Murtaugh was a homemaker. Born Aug. 10, 1918, in Ottawa, Ontario, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bourassa. She married Ralph Murtaugh. He died in 1990. Surviving are a son and his wife, Richard and Gail, Palermo, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. A son, Rodney, died in 2001. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Central Square. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
