- Judith Ellon (Sheeley) Davidson, age 75 of Snellville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, with her 3 children by her side, Thursday, April 20, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on January 23, 1942 in Syracuse, NY. Judy was the first-born child of the late James and Celia (Stock) Sheeley of Dugway, NY.
She is survived by her three children from her marriage to Paul Trumble of Altmar, NY; Lisa Trumble of Baldwinsville, NY, Paul Trumble of Atlanta, GA and Lori (Christopher) Culberson of Snellville, GA. She has 6 grandchildren, Seth and Lily Coots, Aliyah, Zayda, Cade and Daysha Culberson.
Judy is also survived by her brother, Robert (Susie) Sheeley of Richland, NY; brother, William (Nancy) Sheeley of Dugway, NY; sister, Jill (Richard) Ertinger of Liverpool, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Judy graduated from (APW) Altmar-Parrish-Williamstown in 1960. She retired from Oswego County Department of Social Services where she worked as a senior welfare examiner for more than 20 years. She was a former president of McFee Ambulance Service in Mexico, NY and a medic at Mentor Ambulance in Fulton. Judy loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and baking with her grandchildren. She also loved animals and birds. She was a volunteer at Humane Society of Yates County.
A celebration of Judy's life will take place in July with her family and friends, prior to placing her in her final resting place among her family in Dugway, NY Cemetary.
