Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 3, 1902 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Miss Adelle Jones - The community was very much shocked, Saturday afternoon when the news was spread that Miss Adelle Jones had passed away at her home on Park Street. Miss Adelle Jones was born in this village forty-eight years ago. She was a daughter of the late Lucius Jones and is survived by an invalid mother and one sister, Mrs. J. W. Richards. Miss Jones was a most estimable lady, possessing many graces which made her loved by all who knew her. Many years ago she was converted to the blessed faith of a Christian and united with the M. E. church. She has ever been a devoted worker in the church and its kindred organizations. She was devoted to her invalid mother and in every way filled the place of an earnest Christian in all that name implies. The funeral was held at the home yesterday at two o'clock with a large attendance of friends from this and other places. Rev. S. O. Barnes officiating. Many beautiful floral tributes were strewn about the casket and the loved one was in the embrace of peace and rest which was a happy transformation from the hours of suffering which she endured the brief time she was ill.
