      Della C. Whittle, 86, Lamb Road, died Wednesday in Birchwood Health Center, Liverpool.

      Mrs. Whittle was employed with the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York, New York City, Pulaski Democrat weekly newspaper and Howard Brothers Stationery.

      Born Nov. 19, 1914, in Delmar, Iowa, daughter of Adam and Kathryn Frommer Weisenburger, she was a 1933 graduate of Pulaski Academy and a 1935 graduate of Lowell Business College, Binghamton. She married James C. Whittle on April 12, 1936, at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage with the Rev. Henry Bridge, pastor, officiating. Mr. Whittle died March 25, 1984.

      She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 159.

      Surviving are a sister, Edna Hatton, Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews.

      Five brothers, Carl, Emil, Walter, Woodrow, and Alfred Weisenburger, died before her.

      The funeral will be at noon May 7 at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Dorothy Emblidge officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.

      A calling hour will be from 11 a.m. to noon May 7 at the funeral home.
