    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 7, 1889 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Cincinnati, Ohio, October 31, 1889, William Greene, age 40 years. The deceased leaves a wife, formerly Miss Jessie Maltby, youngest daughter of Hiram Maltby, of this village, and three small children. He held for many years a very responsible position with the Phoenix Fire Insurance Company of Hartford, Connecticut. Mrs. Greene's many friends in this village will deeply sympathize with her in this great affliction.
