Notes - Newspaper Obituary - July 02, 1980 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Martha Hubbs Stuart - Services for Mrs. Martha Hubbs Stuart were held recently in Auburndale, Mass., followed by burial in Pulaski, N.Y. Cemetery. Mrs. Stuart was the daughter of Mattie Peach and Wesley J. Hubbs. She was born in Springfield, Mass., but spent most of her early life in Pulaski following the death of her parents. During these years she made her home with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Albert K. Box. Mrs. Stuart was the widow of Irwin F. Stuart whose death occurred in April of this year. She was a graduate of Pulaski Academy and Syracuse University College of Home Economics. Until her retirement in 1963, she was chief dietian at Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. She was a member of the Auburndale Congregational Church, the Garden Club and the Needle Club of that community as well as the Dietetic Council of America. Surviving are an aunt, Mrs. Mildred Peach Berry of Syracuse and cousins, Mrs. H. H. (Florence Hubbs) White of Cullaukee, N. Carolina, Mrs. D. R. (Marion Hubbs) Graham of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Oswego, and Mrs. Katherine Peach Hoarne of Moultrie, Ga.
