Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 6, 1960 Palladium-Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Floyd Watkins, 64, died unexpectedly Wednesday night at his home in Lewis Street, this village. Born here November 8, 1895, he was a son of Alonzo and Eliza Rice Watkins. As a young man he was employed as a wood finisher by the Schoeneck Furniture Company, in Syracuse, until ill health compelled him to retire and return here 35 years ago. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Irene Watkins, Pulaski, and Mrs. James Trumble, Fulton; a brother Willard, Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor funeral home here, the Rev. Russell Clark of Park Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Richland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
