Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 3, 1916 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Mrs. George O. Harmon Dead -Pulaski, January 3 - Mrs. George O. Harmon, who resided on the Selkirk road, west of this village, died Sunday morning. Mrs. Harmon underwent an operation for hernia ten days ago and her family considered her on the way to recovery, but heart trouble set in and her death came quite unexpectedly. Mrs. Harmon was born in Greenwich, New York, March 28th, 1853. She was a daughter of David and Emily Holmes. She married George O. Harmon and at one time resided in Oswego, but has resided in Pulaski many years. She is survived by two sons, Fred, of Oswego and George, who lived at home; three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Wallace, of Watertown' Mrs. Walter Lund, of Williamson, New York, Miss Ruth Harmon, of Saranac Lake; also her mother and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Holmes, of Pulaski, and Mrs. A. F. Aird, of New York. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Harmon was a member of the Pulaski Congregational church.
