      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 3, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Nettie M. Parkhurst, wife of B. E. Parkhurst, passed away at her home on Salina street, last Sunday afternoon, of heart trouble from which she had been a sufferer for some time, but for the past three weeks had grown rapidly worse. Mrs. Parkhurst was born in the town of Richland in February, 1847, and has been a resident of this village more than thirty years, and during that time has won many friends by her sterling womanly qualities. She was an active member of the M. E. church and prominent in J. B. Butler W.R., C., being past president and also having held various other offices in that organization. Deceased is survived by her husband, two sons, John W. and Ward B. Parkhurst both of this village; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Nicholson who resides near Fernwood, and Mrs. George H. Perry of this town, and two brothers, George H. Edick of this village and John W. Edick of this town. The funeral is to be held at the home this afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Maunder officiating. Members of the W. R. C. will attend in a body and exemplify the ritualistic burial service.
