- Mrs. Pauline C. Zufelt, 78, Spring Brook Apartments, Pulaski, wife of Lester W. Zufelt, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 1975 in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, where she had been a patient for five days.
Mrs. Zufelt was born June 11, 1896 at the family home in the White School House District, Town of Sandy Creek, the daughter of Joseph and Fannie Peck Cook. She attended Sandy Creek High School and was a member of its Teacher's Training class.
She was married to Lester W. Zufelt February 13, 1917, in the home of her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Zufelt owned and operated a farm in the Sandy Creek area. Mr. Zufelt retired after 23 years as construction foreman for Warren Brothers Construction Co., Syracuse.
Mrs. Zufelt was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski.
Surviving besides her husband, are three sons: Lester C. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Howard E., Camillus, and Edison L., Pulaski; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Lois) Stubb, Sandy Creek; Mrs. Richard (Doris) Loomis, Hamburgh and Mrs. Burt (Louise) Warp, Key West, Fl. Also seventeen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, and a brother Theodore Cook, Lake Road, Sandy Creek, and a sister, Mrs. Hugh (Beatrix) Stowell, Lacona.
Funeral services for Mrs. Zufelt were held last Saturday afternoon at the Park United Methodist Church, with her pastor, Rev. Edwin A Poster, officiating. Calling hours were held the afternoon and evening before the funeral at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Heart Fund or to Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski.
