      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 27, 1907 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Charles Ellis Dies Suddenly - Saturday forenoon while Charles Ellis, who lives a few miles east of this village, was conversing with some men near the new factory, on Salina Street, he was stricken down and died Sunday morning at the home of W. H. Sharp, on Salina Street, where he was taken when he was stricken. Mr. Ellis had a shock about two years ago and has been poorly since that time. He was born in this town about fifty-five years ago and has resided here most of his life. He married Frances Trumbull, daughter of James Trumbull, and to them one son, Roy Ellis, was born. The son and mother, also three brothers, Horace, of Syracuse, J. V., of Daysville, John, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and three sisters, Eliza Havens, Syracuse, Saphrona Liffingwell, Maline, Wisconsin, and Vanecia Comstock, of Ainsley, Nebraska, survive him. The funeral was held from the home of his son, Roy, yesterday, at one o'clock, Rev. C. H. Guile officiating.
