Mrs. Jay Upton Dies October 17
Mrs. Selina Upton, a former resident of Sandy Creek, died Monday afternoon, October 17, 1955 in a hospital near Utica after a long illness.
Following cremation in Rochester, committal services will be held in Sandy Creek at a date as yet named.
Mrs. Upton was the daughter of Lewis B. Carr and Eliza Webb Carr and married Jay L' Upton of Sandy Creek, who survives,' with one son, Edward Upton. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Winifred Upton of Sandy Creek and three brothers; Earl: and Hugh Carr, Rochester; Edward Carr, Lacona
